Welcome!
Welcome to the website of the European Military & Police Canine Training Centre (MPCTC). We have recently undergone a re-structuring of our organisational profile due to the fact that, since 2011, most of our projects take place in mainland Europe.

MPCTC is an international "not-for-profit" law enforcement organisation based in the United Kingdom and Europe, dedicated to the continual improvement of Law Enforcement Canines, both in the area of man work and in scent detection with particular emphasis on anti-terrorist operations and border integrity.
European Military & Police Canine Training Centre is the UK's foremost organisation specialising in Canine (K9) Disciplines. We train and supply dogs for search and rescue (SAR) operations, bomb detection operations, narcotics detection, human remains detection and many other specialist areas where highly trained specialist dogs can be effectively deployed.
European Military & Police Canine Training Centre is operated by former Military Special Forces and former Military dog section personnel. This ensures that we are at the forefront of both traditional and state-of-the-art techniques for all the services we offer.
Our most recent high-profile activity was the planning and implementation of "Operation Border Watch" a joint initiative between MPCTC, the UK Government and the EU, which transformed drugs, arms and explosives search operations on several eastern EU land borders. This was carried out by MPCTC personnel out between 2004 and 2007. See more on Operation Border Watch HERE
